The AUFF talent prize is awarded for the 23rd time this year to five young researchers, one from each faculty. Each of the winners have shown impressive research results. They receive the prize for their work as a PhD student and not necessarily for the thesis only. This year, the prize goes to a molecular biologist/medicinal chemist, who has studied the effect of chemical molecules, i.a. in connection with drug absorption in the cells. A political scientist, who has studied the use of emphathy in political debates. A journalist, who has studied users of alternative news media. A veterinary and animal scientist, who has studied cattle methane emissions reduction. A molecular medicine scientist, who has studied bladder cancer treatment. All five winners continue their work as postdocs in the same department.
