Grants

The Aarhus University Research Foundation only accepts applications following calls or recommendation by Aarhus University. Applications must therefore be sent through the efond system that Aarhus University uses: www.efond.dk/auff ); subsequently, the university will recommend projects to the foundation. Grant strategy

The Aarhus University Research Foundation has through the years supported scientific research at Aarhus University. The board of the foundation has laid down a forward-looking award strategy; the principal line comprises two larger pools, a strategic pool and an application pool, and a smaller pool supporting other purposes. The strategic pool shall contribute with support that allows for an extra dimension in major focus areas at Aarhus University in the coming years. The application pool shall support the foundation programmes that usually run for a number of years and where applications are invited following calls.

An updated list for 2019 grants is found here and a list for 2020 is in preparation and will be published Autumn 2021.
